A sailing holiday on a traditional Dutch sailing boat! For centuries vessels of all types have been plying the extensive waters of Holland. The limited draught of the flat-bottomed craft allows them to reach the loveliest spots in Friesland as well as lay up on the sands of the Wad. Their great stability ensures comfortable sailing, and even when the wind picks up, it's still a pleasure to man the helm. Our vessels are fitted out with a diesel engine and all the navigational instruments needed for the specific area of cruising. The galley is fully equipped and the remaining inventory aboard is also complete. Although sailing experience is desirable, you receive on departure extensive instructions on the yacht and its equipment. We'll be glad to send you a comprehensive brochure about our yachts.

Grundel 8.50 (4-5 Pers.)
The Grundel was developed from the punt and is a manageable and spacious flat-bottomed craft suitable for the banks of the IJsselmeer and nearby lakes.

Vollenhovse Bol 8.10 (4-5 Pers.)
The Vollenhovense bol was developed on the windy lee side of the eastern Zuiderzee in about 1900, and for a round-bottomed boat its quite modern. The Vollenhovense bol sails very well for its length and has excellent qualities in rough water.

Vollenhovse Bol 8.50 (5-6 Pers.)
The Vollenhovense bols were used originally for catching flounder but it was not long before they were adapted for pleasure boating. These Vollenhovense bols are slightly roomier than the shorter versions.

Schokker 9.84 (5-6 Pers.)
The robust schokker, a flat-bottomed vessel, a formerly fishing boat used all over Holland, from the Zuiderzee to the waters of Zeeland. This type, which goes back centuries, originally had a spritsail that eventually evolved into a gaff rig.

Staverso Jol 7.00 (2-4Pers.)
De Staverse Jol is de enige rondbodem die geen zwaarden heeft maar een lange ondiepe kiel. In het algemeen de meest handzame onder de platbodems.  Ideaal voor beginnende platbodem- zeiler, en is ook goed alleen te zeilen of met kleine bemanning. De Jol is een goed zeilend schip met een grootte aanvangstabiliteit. In verhouding met zijlengte is hij zeer breed.

Lemsteraak 9.10-11.00 (5-8 Pers.)
The Lemsteraak was a Zuiderzee fishing boat, named after its port of origin, Lemmer. Lemsteraaks are among the fastest round-bilge vessels. The sailing qualities and seaworthiness of the Lemsteraak, along with its fine lines make it a popular yacht.
