Maran Yachtcharter has over 20 years experience in the
chartering of sailing boats. Our team, themselves enthusiastic and skilfull
sailors, are a guarantee of your boating pleasure and optimum service. Our
fleet of over 50 perfectly maintained and often new vessels is moored in our
own harbour. There we have the use of a well equipped workshop, a large supply
of spare parts and a boat crane. The sailing waters, conveniently situated in
Friesland's lake district, are connected directly to Sneeker Lake. From the
junction Joure on the A7 / A50 you can reach our harbour within ten minutes,
where you can park free of charge. We are also easily accessible by the hourly

POLYVALK (2-5 PERS.)
The familiar open boat of the Netherlands. Used by most sailing schools
because of its good sailing qualities, spacious cockpit and stability.
On the basis of the components supplied, Maran completes the Polyvalks
itself with CE marking. All our Polyvalks have a roller reefed jib
controlled from the cockpit. Because many bridges no longer rotate for
open boats, the boat carries a rapid mast striking unit. A single person
can strike and raise the mast - in calm weather, even with the sail set.
An outboard engine, deck tent, camping set and foul weather gear can
also be rented.
